Celestron/Vixen C-102

The Celestron/Vixen C-102s have a reputation for being some of the best Japanese Achromats ever placed on the market. This one was no exception. Had I not purchased a 4 inch APO this would still be in the inventory. Excellent star test, fully collimatable  cell, substantial construction, and a very nice rack and pinion focuser. Color fringing was minimized by the F-9.8 focal ratio and it always provided excellent results. It is shown here on the original Celestron/Vixen Super Polaris mount. An excellent combination.
