Celestron C-8 SCT

I purchased this C-8 from a very nice gentleman on Astromart. It was in excellent condition and I wanted to compare it to the Meade LX-10. I have owned two Celestron C-8s and they have both performed in a similar manner. It took me a while to get the collimation just right on this scope, but the images were very nice when properly collimated. After the comparison it was my opinion that this scope provided a little brighter image of objects but with less contrast than the LX-10. I mounted this OTA on a Celestron/Vixen Super Polaris Mount.
