Celestron/Vixen Comet Catcher

The Celestron/Vixen Comet Catcher is a very unique little scope. It is a Schmidt-Newtonian design and provided a very fast focal ratio of f 3.6.  (140mm diameter and 500mm focal length).  I picked this scope up because a LOT of the folks in the Kennedy Space Center Amateur Astronomers had one and I wanted to see how it performed. I was pleasantly surprised. I really did not expect much from this scope, but very nice optics and a functional design made this little scope actually perform quite well.
