Takahashi FC-100

The Takahashi FC-100 was the predecessor to the FS-102. The major difference was the placement of the Fluorite element in the objective. The Fluorite element was placed behind the front element. This sample was one of the last ones produced and had a fully multicoated Fluorite element. In earlier versions the Fluorite element was not coated due to the difficulty in properly coating Fluorite. This sample of the FC-100 had outstanding optics. It is shown here mounted on a Losmandy GM-8 mount. The only reason I sold this scope was to fund the FS-128, otherwise I would still own this one.
