The Tele Vue Nagler eyepieces have always been a "standard" for high quality, ultra wide field eyepieces. One of the latest designs (the Type 6) retains the excellent AFOV of 82 degrees, but repackages it in a smaller, lighter 1.25 in package. These are excellent eyepieces for Dobsonian, Alt-Azimuth, and other non-driven scopes where the light weight and outstanding field of view allows you to get your object into the field for longer durations. It also helps in locating objects. The lighter weight aids greatly to solve the balance issues with many small scopes. 

Optically the Type 6 Nagler is very good. They have excellent contrast and very good light throughput with reasonable eye relief. They do exhibit a bit of color fringing (CA) and some pin cushion distortion in the outer portion of the field of view in some faster scopes.
